Mia and Markko ch 3

BOOM! Gina's penguin exploded. "Gina!" I yelled. "Why weren't you watching your penguins!?" We all rushed over to help him. He was covered in ash from head to toe. He almost looked like he could be someone's shadow. I could tell just by looking at him that he had a broken leg and that he was definitely uncounsious. Everyone looked at him with great concern except for the twins who were off playing some game. And me, I was just seeing how much work I would need to do. "Is he dead?" Misaki asked. "Ya, is he going to be ok?" Kazuki agreed. That was the first time I'd seen them both care about the same thing/person besides the family. "He's going to be ok but he has some bad wounds and broken bones." I told them. "He's going to have to stay in the care room for a while." We had a care room in case anyone hurt themselves or each other (I used it a lot before I learned how to keep Misaki and Kasuki from hurting each other.) "Really he's going to have to stay there?!" Gina asked. "Can I help care for him?" "Me too!" Kazuki begged. "And me!" Misaki said. "Sorry guys I'm not sure if I will be able to let you in." I told them. I was sure they were about to start begging again so I said "Guys just help me let him see the house." They still wanted to help but they agreed. After he would be able to see the house I decided I should carry him in. But when I started to lift him up everyone started begging to let them lift him. "No," I said. "He's too heavy for you guys and I don't want to have to wash all of your cloths." So I lifted him up and carried him to our care room. As soon as I got there I locked the door behind me and started cleaning him. (The parts I could get to with out taking his cloths off) He woke up while I was tending his wounds. "Where am I?" he asked.
